Lately, I’ve asked my current brides this common question “Are you going to have a Sweetheart Table?” Most of them have responded, “What is that?” So what better way but to blog about it.
Sweetheart Table: A table that is special for you and your groom at the wedding reception. Opting for a sweetheart table gives you and your groom a few moments alone and this allows you to enjoy your first time eating dinner together as man and wife. The table is usually placed in an area that is facing your guests and your immediate family and bridal party is usually seated within close proximity to you. Your table is smaller then the guest tables and you can decorate it with flowers, beautiful linens, Chiavari chairs, candles, special champagne glasses. Get creative and make it unique to your style! The table can be designed differently from all of the other tables within the room. You can also create a unique back drop behind you so when your photographer takes photos, you have a magnificent background.
